Union Mezcal Uno Joven is made by a group of families who produce the spirit together from mainly espadin and cirial agave. This spirit is their unaged expression, bottled directly off the still, which gives the truest expression of agave, and it won a Silver medal at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Initially, it reveals its production process in an artisanal way with oak firewood. Afterward, sweet and fruity notes of the sprat agave are felt. Earthy, herbal, and citrus notes of the cirial agave are also perceived. On a taste note Pear, Apple, Smoked, Espadín, and Cirial Agave and Herbs
