Hamilton 151 False Idol Rum - This full-throttle, 151-proof rum is a blend of 85% demerara and 15% Jamaican Po. It is created in collaboration with Anthony Schmidt of San Diego's False Idol. To hold its own with the most aggressive tiki ingredients, this overproof rum had to be strong, bold, balanced, and versatile enough not to overpower the more subtle cocktails on their menu. The profile is heavily centered on molasses, maple, and treacle. Hamilton 151 False Idol Rum is ideal for Tiki cocktails and will work equally well in spirit forward cocktails too.
