This blended malt from Islay is a blend of 7 particularly peaty singles malts. We find in this one distillates which come from known houses as Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila, and even Port Ellen.
This scotch whisky is bottled raw from the cask, without cold filtration or addition of coloring.
NOSE:Plenty of oily smoke, hints of charred herbs, with salted nuts and spiced currant buns in tow.
PALATE:Bonfire embers and black pepper crackle alongside charred herbs, lifted by flamed citrus peels, before more hearty peat smoke drifts in.
FINISH:Earthy charcoal and vegetal peat linger, with tarry, coastal breeze and dense, oily malt.
