A single village Mezcal from the top producers Del Maguey, it is twice distilled from 100% Agave Espadin, and bottled unblended in a "time-honoured" 400 year old way. This Mezcal is sold at an entry-level price point and has broader availability. It launched in 2010, is highly mixable, and has gained much anticipated industry acceptance and high bartender demand. Hand crafted, it is twice distilled, very slowly in small wood-fired, copper stills to flavor specifications that underscore its versatility in cocktails.
Tasting notes:
Nose - spice and smoky with hints of hazelnut and light citrus
Palate - fruity, spiced, smoked almont and a little hint of peach juice, potpourri and mixed spices.
