I am currently enjoying my first bottle of Balcones Baby Blue Corn Whiskey. At the not so tender age of 74, I have drank, and many times enjoyed whiskey from Tennessee to Texas with varying degrees of pleasure. Recently I was perusing the Bourbon Whiskey section of my favorite Taos, NM liquor store, when to my great surprise I discovered the Balcones Baby Corn Whiskey distilled in Waco, Texas. Now having lived all over the US, it has been my pleasure to sample Bourbon Whiskey from all over the region of my current home. However, I was never more surprised than when I discovered the Balcones here in Taos. Simply, I found it smooth, warn and continually asking for more sampling. At least in my opinion.
