Ardbeg's small-batch, 19-year-old bottling is a typical example of the distillery's bold, smoky style. Notes of maple bacon and smoked mango mingle with aniseed, burnt heather, and spiced chives on the nose. A deep smokiness is present in waves of toffee fudge, warm butter, and smoked butter. The finish is long, sizzling, and satisfying.
The Singing Sands is the local name for Islay’s beautiful Traigh Bhan beach. The distinctive sound of the sand beneath one's feet is created by its composition, which consists of a soft, white, powdery substance that is particularly prevalent on this stretch of coastline.
