Ardbeg's small-batch, 19-year-old bottling is a typical example of the distillery's bold, smoky style. Notes of maple bacon and smoked mango mingle with aniseed, burnt heather, and spiced chives on the nose. A deep smokiness is present in waves of toffee fudge, warm butter, and smoked butter. The finish is long, sizzling, and satisfying.
