Dirty Martini Cocktail Recipe

What's the difference between a Dry Martini and a Dirty Martini? An olive!!

In 1901, John O'Connor, a New York Bartender, added a splash of olive brine along with the olive garish and voila' -  the Dirty Martini.

Only one question remains when it comes to the Dirty Martini - do you prefer your's shaken or stirred? ⑅ ........ (one for the James Bond fans.....)

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 1/2 ounces Hendricks Gin
  • 1/2 ounce Carpano Dry Vermouth
  • 1/2 ounce Filthy Olive Brine
  • 2 Filthy Pimento Olives

STEPS

  1. Add the gin, vermouth and olive brine to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until well-chilled. 
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a skewer of olives.
